Peer Mediators

This year, we will reintroduce Peer Mediators to our school playgrounds.  Peer Mediation is a form of conflict resolution in which trained student leaders help their peers work together to resolve everyday disputes.

Our Pastoral Team Learning Mentors will co-ordinate this initiative, beginning with training suitable pupils for the role of Peer Mediator.  Year 5 and Year 6 pupils will be invited to apply for the positions available at the start of the 2016-17 academic year.

We are very excited about this project as we know we have many pupils who can take on this responsible leadership role and make a fantastic contribution to the life of Cherry Orchard Primary School.
