Support for parents and carers

We are missing all of our Cherry Orchard families and hope you are managing to keep safe and well whilst observing government guidelines during this difficult time.

Please look out for our regular updates via email, our website and Twitter.

CRITICAL WORKERS

If you are a key worker and in need of assistance, please email us on enquiry@cherryorchard.bham.sch.uk or phone the main school office on 0121 5540862.  We are here to help.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

If your child is entitled to free school meals, you will be receiving vouchers via the school to spend in local supermarkets.  If you are having any difficulty accessing the vouchers, please email us on enquiry@cherryorchard.bham.sch.uk or phone the main school office on 0121 5540862.  We are here to help.

If you think your child might be entitled to free school meals, you can complete an application online at www.link2ict.org/fsm.  If you receive an email confirming that your child is entitled to free school meals, please email us on enquiry@cherryorchard.bham.sch.uk or phone the main school office on 0121 5540862.

HOME LEARNING

To support your child's learning at home, go to the Curriculum and Learning section of the website and go to the relevant year group page in 'Year Group Information'.  The year group pages are updated at the end of every week with the following week's work.

You will also find an email address on each year group page so you can contact your child's class teacher with questions or to share your child's work. To encourage your children to learn at home, we are sharing their work on our website with your permission - the page is called 'Examples of Children's Work'.
