Pupil Premium Funding
In 2011-12, the Government launched its Pupil Premium Grant (PPG) for schools. This money is allocated to schools based on the number of pupils in the school that are:
From April 2013 the PPG has been expanded to include all children who have been eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) within the last 6 years. Funds are allocated to support initiatives to ensure pupils reach their full potential, both academically and socially.
At Cherry Orchard Primary School we are committed to promoting the progress and attainment of all our pupils, whatever their backgrounds, so that they can strive to achieve their full potential. The targeted and strategic use of the Pupil Premium Grant helps us to achieve this vision.
